Role Description The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ghaziabad. The Service Engineer will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing warehouse storage racks and material-handling equipment at customer locations. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and providing technical support to ensure safe and reliable operation. The role involves conducting site visits, completing service reports, coordinating with internal teams for spare parts and upgrades, and supporting customers with training on proper use and basic upkeep. The Service Engineer will also assist in continuous improvement by sharing field feedback with the engineering and production teams.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve equipment and system issues effectively.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience and Maintenance & Repair skills to perform on-site installation, servicing, and routine upkeep of material-handling solutions.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to interact clearly with customers, prepare service documentation, and coordinate with internal teams.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical field) are preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, use standard workshop and diagnostic tools, and follow safety standards in industrial environments.
- Comfort with frequent site visits, physical work related to installation and inspection, and adherence to company and customer safety protocols.
- Prior experience in material-handling equipment, warehouse racking, or industrial machinery service will be an added advantage.
