Role Description The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The Service Engineer will install, configure, and maintain surgical devices and OR integration systems at client locations, ensuring equipment and software function reliably and efficiently. Daily responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, and providing timely field service support. The role also involves coordinating with internal technical teams, documenting service activities, and training end users on proper operation and basic troubleshooting. The Service Engineer will interact regularly with hospital and clinic staff, maintain clear communication, and uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards during all service activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve equipment and system issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site visits, system commissioning, and customer-facing technical interactions.
- Candidates should possess solid Maintenance & Repair capabilities for electronic, electromechanical, or medical equipment, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with clinical staff, internal teams, and documenting service reports clearly.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience with medical devices, OR integration systems, or healthcare technology environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage multiple service tasks, and travel to client sites as required.
- Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines, and a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
