Job Title: Service Engineer – Battery
Location: Kolkata
Experience: 3–5 Years (Minimum in Battery Service)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer with experience in batteries. The candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of battery systems at client locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation, commissioning, and testing of battery systems
Routine maintenance and preventive servicing of batteries
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues at customer sites
Conduct battery performance checks and diagnostics
Ensure timely service support and customer satisfaction
Maintain service reports and documentation
Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts and technical support
Follow safety standards and company protocols during fieldwork
Required Skills & Competencies:
Good knowledge of batteries (Lead-acid, VRLA, Lithium-ion preferred)
Hands-on experience in battery servicing and maintenance
Basic electrical and technical troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and travel locally
Strong communication and customer-handling skills
Qualifications:
Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics or related field
Preferred Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of direct experience in battery servicing
Experience in field service role
