Position Title: COBOL Engineer
Location: India (100% Remote)
Working Hours: IST
Duration: 12 Months Contract with possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $13-15 US Dollars Per Hour
Start Date: Immediate
Candidates should be flexible to work till mid night India time
Service Engineer (Customer Implementation)
Experience: 8-12 years (Can be slightly lower for bright candidates)
Role Summary: Responsible for deploying Client's modernization product at customer sites, converting COBOL applications to Java, validating code, and handling post-migration enhancements.
Key Skills Required: Strong hands-on Java expertise (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, REST APIs).
Preferred Skills: Mainframe knowledge (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM) and DevOps/CI/CD pipeline experience.
Soft Skills: Strong communication for customer demonstrations, technical consulting, and strict adherence to project deadlines.
