Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Kerala, India. The Service Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, testing, and routine maintenance of Bry-Air equipment and systems at customer sites, ensuring reliable operation and optimal performance. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating repairs, and providing detailed service reports and documentation. The role involves regular customer interaction to explain system functionality, train operators on proper use, and address service-related queries in a professional manner. The Service Engineer will collaborate with internal technical and sales teams to support after-sales service, uphold safety and quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in field service operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in mechanical and electrical systems, including installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading engineering drawings, using diagnostic tools and instruments, and following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Candidates should possess organization and documentation skills, including accurate reporting, record-keeping, and use of basic computer applications for service logs and communications.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline is preferred, along with prior field service experience in HVAC, air treatment, or industrial equipment.
- Ability to work on-site at customer locations, travel as required within Kerala and nearby regions, and adapt to varied industrial environments.
- Familiarity with dehumidification, air handling systems, or process industry applications will be an advantage.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
