Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role located in Kolkata. The Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. Responsibilities include conducting regular maintenance checks, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, installing and commissioning equipment, and providing technical support to clients. The role also involves preparing service reports and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment
- Experience or knowledge in working with construction, material handling, or industrial equipment is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems, engines, gearboxes, and filtration systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic working conditions
- Engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or related fields
- Experience in the industry or in a similar role is an advantage
