About the Role We are looking for a technically skilled and field-oriented Service Engineer to handle installation, commissioning, and after-sales support of industrial machinery. The role requires strong on-site execution capability, customer coordination, and troubleshooting skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- ITI – Fitter Trade
Required Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills
- Experience in installation and commissioning in manufacturing industry
- Good communication skills with customers and internal teams
- Ability to coordinate and manage site activities independently
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, reporting tools)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
- Leadership qualities and team coordination skills
- Customer handling and convincing ability Key Responsibilities
- Execute on-site installation and commissioning of machinery at customer locations
- Ensure timely completion and closure of work orders related to installation and commissioning
- Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) with customers and ensure all points are resolved before dispatch
- Plan and execute site visits as per project schedule
- Coordinate with customers for site readiness, installation arrangements, and execution planning
- Handle shifting, de-boxing, and installation setup of machinery at site
- Coordinate with design, QA, and internal teams for technical or documentation-related issues
- Follow up with internal departments for any material shortages or requirements
- Maintain continuous communication with customers before, during, and after site visits
- Ensure proper handover of installed systems and customer satisfaction
- Submit daily site visit reports to reporting manager on time
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of on-site technical issues
