Job Title: Service Delivery Manager
Location: ETAP-Delhi

The job
We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager with deep expertise in utility operations, responsible for end-to-end delivery of RDSS/ADMS projects.
This role provides sole accountability for project delivery, technical compliance, and client/vendor interface. The Service Delivery Manager will coordinate with the Engineering Manager and engineering teams but remain the single point of ownership for delivery quality, schedule adherence, and technical compliance.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical knowledge of power distribution, grid automation, and SCADA/ADMS systems with strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Delivery & Compliance
- Full ownership of end-to-end delivery for RDSS/ADMS projects in utility/grid environments.
- Ensure strict adherence to:
- Client-specific technical specifications
- Distribution system automation standards and grid codes
- Engineering drawings, SLDs, protection schemes, and compliance documents
- Contractual obligations and quality standards
- Review and validate engineering deliverables including:
- SCADA/ADMS system architecture, configurations, and network diagrams
- ETAP / power flow / short-circuit / protection coordination studies
- Communication network designs, telemetry integration, and automation logic
- Technical reports, FAT/SAT documentation, and compliance certificates
- Identify risks, deviations, or non-compliances and drive corrective/preventive actions.
Client & Vendor Interface
- Act as primary client and vendor-facing technical lead for project delivery.
- Lead technical review meetings, progress discussions, compliance audits, and design clarifications.
- Manage client escalations, change requests, and technical queries efficiently.
- Represent the organization in FAT/SAT, compliance audits, and project acceptance reviews.
Engineering Coordination
- Coordinate closely with the Engineering Manager and internal teams to ensure:
- Engineering execution aligns with project schedules, compliance, and quality standards
- Clear technical expectations are communicated and delivered by engineering teams
- Track engineering progress against milestones and ensure timely availability of all deliverables.
Project Planning, Reporting & Governance
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and milestone trackers.
- Monitor project health across scope, schedule, quality, and risk dimensions.
- Prepare and present structured project status reports to clients and senior internal management.
- Maintain complete technical documentation, including:
- Compliance matrices
- Risk and issue registers
- Meeting minutes and action trackers
- Final handover documentation
Ensure adherence to internal delivery frameworks, quality systems, and audit requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Strong domain knowledge in utility/grid operations, distribution automation, RDSS, ADMS, SCADA, and smart grid technologies.
- Hands-on experience with ETAP, power system studies, protection coordination, and distribution network modeling.
- Ability to interpret and validate:
- Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
- Protection schemes and relay coordination
- Telemetry and SCADA/ADMS configurations
- Compliance with grid codes and utility standards
- Familiarity with power system automation, smart grid communication networks, and data analytics integration.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet) and reporting tools
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Power / Automation / Instrumentation Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in utility or grid operations projects, with focus on RDSS/ADMS or SCADA/Automation projects.
- Proven track record as single-point delivery owner for technically complex, client-facing projects.
