About the Role
We are looking for a Network Operations / Customer Service Assurance Engineer to support and manage customer network services. The role involves monitoring network incidents, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring timely resolution of service requests while maintaining agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage network operations and customer service assurance activities.
- Handle and track trouble tickets and service requests through the complete lifecycle.
- Diagnose and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity issues, routing and switching related problems.
- Ensure adherence to SLA timelines for ticket resolution and service restoration.
- Escalate critical incidents to appropriate technical teams and track resolution progress.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams and external service partners for incident resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement of service operations.
- Maintain documentation and reports related to network incidents and operational performance.
- Support customer escalations and ensure high service quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, Routing, Switching, and TCP/IP networking.
- Experience with network monitoring or ticketing tools.
- Knowledge of incident management and service assurance processes.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple incidents and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory) in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- CCNA certification is mandatory.
- CCNP certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Network Operations, NOC, or Telecom Support environments.
- Experience working with network troubleshooting, service assurance, or telecom/ISP environments is preferred.
Preferred Background
- Candidates with experience in network operations centers (NOC), telecom operations, ISP support, or enterprise network environments will be highly preferred.
