Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Associate role based in Jamnagar. The Service Associate is responsible for delivering courteous, efficient customer service, including greeting guests, guiding them to screens, assisting with seating, and responding to queries. The role involves handling ticket and concession counters, managing payments, and ensuring accurate billing. Daily tasks include maintaining cleanliness and order in auditoriums and common areas, following safety and security procedures, and supporting crowd management during peak show times. The Service Associate also works closely with the team to uphold PVR’s service standards and enhance the overall cinema experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills, both verbal and basic written, for clear, polite, and professional interactions.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to handle basic problem-solving, crowd flow, and operational issues during shows.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills to manage cash handling, billing, and point-of-sale transactions accurately.
- Additional qualifications: prior experience in hospitality/retail/customer-facing roles preferred; ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays; reliability, attention to detail, and a strong focus on service; minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or equivalent.
