Service Architect

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Service Architect to shape, design, and transition new and existing IT services. The role involves translating business and operational requirements into scalable service designs and working closely with customer and supplier teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape requirements for new and transitioning IT services.
- Define target service designs and operating models for new services such as UAM / Identity & Access Management.
- Translate business and operational requirements into clear technical service architectures.
- Develop technical service requirements, design documentation, and architectural standards.
- Support service transition activities while ensuring continuity and minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders and supplier teams to validate and refine service designs.
- Provide architectural inputs into governance, service design, and transition processes.
- Conduct workshops and engage with business and technical stakeholders.
- Support onshore/offshore teams and travel to UK customer sites as required.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience as a Service Architect / IT Service Architect
- Strong experience in Service Design & Service Transition
- Experience designing and standing up new IT services
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical service designs
- Experience with Identity & Access Management / UAM, Infrastructure, or Platform Services
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in customer/supplier or outsourced IT environments
- Strong documentation and architectural governance experience
- Experience working across onshore/offshore delivery models
Good to Have
- ITIL / ITSM knowledge
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Experience in large enterprise environments
- UK customer engagement experience
- Willingness to travel to UK customer sites
