Role Description
This is a freelance / contract / part-time role with flexibility for remote delivery. As a Serverless Data Architect Trainer, your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver advanced training modules for the Serverless Data Architect – Master Course (20 Modules, 50% Hands-on Labs).
You will create and refine comprehensive learning content covering Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, and Lakehouse architectures, guide participants through hands-on labs using real-world datasets, and ensure strong practical understanding of modern data platforms. Additionally, you will mentor learners, support project-based learning, and ensure participants can apply concepts in real enterprise scenarios across data engineering, analytics, and architecture domains.

Qualifications
- Strong experience in Data Architecture and Data Modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas, Lakehouse design)
- Hands-on expertise in at least one or more:
- Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake)
- Snowflake (ELT, performance optimization)
- BigQuery (serverless analytics)
- Proficiency in ETL / ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and modern data stack design
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and serverless architectures
- Understanding of data governance, performance tuning, and cost optimization (FinOps for data)
- Ability to deliver hands-on labs and real-world use cases
- Excellent presentation, teaching, and communication skills
- Prior experience in technical training, mentoring, or content creation is preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
