TripStar PMSNEX (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for a Server Administrator / Linux Server Specialist to manage, maintain, and optimize our hosting infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring server uptime, creating and managing cPanel accounts, monitoring server health, and resolving server-related issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, configure, and manage cPanel/WHM accounts.
- Perform daily server monitoring and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Linux server-related issues.
- Configure and maintain Apache, Nginx, PHP, MySQL, and MariaDB.
- Monitor server performance, CPU, RAM, disk usage, and uptime.
- Configure SSL certificates and manage domain hosting.
- Perform regular server backups and restoration when required.
- Ensure server security through firewall configuration, malware scanning, and software updates.
- Monitor server logs and identify potential issues proactively.
- Handle email server configuration and troubleshooting.
- Manage DNS records and domain configurations.
- Work closely with the development team during application deployment.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of all hosted applications.
- Respond promptly to server outages and critical incidents.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linux Server Administration.
- Experience with cPanel & WHM.
- Knowledge of Apache, Nginx, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB.
- Experience managing VPS, Dedicated Servers, or Cloud Servers.
- Understanding of DNS, SSL, FTP, SSH, and SMTP.
- Familiarity with server security and firewall configuration.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve server issues independently.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Bash) is an advantage.
