About the role

We seek a skilled and innovative IoT and Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge IoT solutions and automation systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IoT technologies, automation frameworks, and software development, with a passion for solving complex problems and improving operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and Development: - Develop and deploy IoT solutions, including hardware, software, and connectivity components. - Design and implement automation systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency. 2. System Integration: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT and automation solutions into existing infrastructure. - Ensure seamless communication between IoT devices, sensors, and control systems. 3. Prototyping and Testing: - Build and test prototypes for IoT and automation systems. - Conduct performance testing, debugging, and optimization of IoT solutions. 4. Data Management: - Develop systems for data collection, storage, and analysis from IoT devices. - Implement data security and privacy measures for IoT systems. 5. Maintenance and Support: - Provide technical support for deployed IoT and automation systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity. 6. Innovation and Research: - Stay updated on emerging IoT and automation technologies. - Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance system capabilities. Requirements: 1. Education: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 2. Experience: - Professional or project experience in IoT development and automation engineering. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, and JavaScript. - Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., PLC, SCADA, Node-RED). - Familiarity with embedded communication protocols (e.g., UART, MODBUS, SPI). - Experience with hardware integration and sensor technologies. 3. Technical Skills: - Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., MQTT, HTTP). - Knowledge of cloud computing and edge computing technologies. - Experience with data analytics and visualization tools. - Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices for IoT systems. 4. Soft Skills: - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
