About the Role
Join Serenity Lane as a Residential Treatment Specialist and play a vital role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from substance use disorders. In this rewarding position, you'll help create and maintain a safe, structured, and compassionate environment in our residential treatment program.
What You’ll Do
* Assist clients with daily living activities and therapeutic routines.
* Monitor participation in meals, meetings, and activities.
* Support new admissions and conduct patient orientations.
* Be visible and available to encourage engagement and model healthy behavior.
* Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) and Serenity Lane policies.
* Communicate and document issues such as discharges, at-risk behaviors, and safety concerns.
* Stay current with internal communications and respond promptly.
* Conduct perimeter checks and enforce emergency and fire safety procedures.
* Identify and appropriately respond to psychological and physical safety risks.
* Coordinate care with clinical and nursing staff.
* Participate in team meetings and trainings.
* Communicate significant client concerns to supervisors and appropriate departments.
* Supervise student counselors as assigned.
* Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions.

What We’re Looking For
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* CADC-R required; CADC I preferred.
* Ability to create a professional, supportive environment.
* Exhibit strong communication and observational skills.
* Individual who is team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
* Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods.
* Occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.
* Comfortable working in varied noise levels and performing repetitive tasks.
* Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (Serenity Lane is a Cannabis THC-free workplace)
