The Facilities Custodian is responsible for maintaining facility cleanliness to defined Company standards. This will include typical custodial tasks such as floor and refuse maintenance as well as other maintenance tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

Removes, installs, cleans and maintains product dispensing equipment such as soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers and other dispensers an assigned.

Cleans and maintains plumbing fixtures; changes batteries in automated faucets, urinals and toilets, removes and cleans aerators/screens, installs automatic flush valves, tests fixtures and adjusts for proper operation.

Uses ladders and associated appropriate equipment to clean windows, overhead lighting, air diffusers, exposed pipe, ventilation and other elevated building attributes.

Plans and performs projects, requests supplies, performs work requests, and requests equipment repairs.
