Massive Impact is a specialized digital marketing agency based in Kolkata. It helps businesses grow online. We focus on SEO, PPC, and building custom websites to get your business noticed, bring in more leads and turn those leads to customers.
We are looking for a SEO Technical Developer (on site) who can manage and execute SEO strategies for multiple client websites with a minimum experience of 4-5 years.
The ideal candidate understands modern SEO (Google algorithm updates, technical SEO, AEO, GEO, AI search changes, and local SEO) and can independently identify and implement SEO improvements.
Responsibilities
1. Technical SEO & Website Optimization
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits across client websites.
- Identify and resolve issues related to crawlability, indexation, site architecture, and canonicalization.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile performance, and structured data (schema markup).
- Manage redirect strategies, sitemap optimization, and internal linking structures, schema, basic common sense.
- Implement SEO improvements across CMS platforms such as WordPress, etc.
2. Keyword Research & Search Strategy
- Perform in-depth keyword research, search intent analysis, and competitor analysis.
- Identify high-value keyword opportunities to drive traffic and leads.
- Develop SEO strategies for international and local markets.
- Plan and execute keyword targeting strategies aligned with business goals.
- AI research to rank
- Social keyword strategies and analysis
3. On-Page SEO Optimization
- Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and content structure.
- Implement content optimization strategies for improved rankings and user engagement.
- Improve internal linking and topical authority across websites.
- Ensure all pages follow SEO best practices and search engine guidelines.
- Idea about white hat and grey hat SEO strategies
4. Local SEO & Google Business Profile
- Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles for local search visibility.
- Improve local map rankings through citation building and NAP consistency.
- Implement local schema and geo-targeted SEO strategies.
- Monitor and improve reviews, local rankings, and location-based search performance.
5. Link Building & Authority Growth
- Develop and execute white-hat link building strategies.
- Conduct backlink audits and competitor link analysis.
- Identify opportunities for high-quality backlinks and digital PR outreach.
- Monitor domain authority and backlink health.

6. SEO Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion metrics.
- Analyze SEO data using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools.
- Prepare monthly SEO performance reports with actionable insights.
- Continuously refine strategies based on performance data.
- Knows lookers studio (advantage), ranking tools like zutrix, SE Ranking, Ahrefs, SemRUSH, Claude, Claude code, etc
7. Content Strategy & Topical Authority
- Conduct content gap analysis and topic cluster planning.
- Collaborate with writers and content teams to ensure SEO-optimized content creation.
- Improve content to align with Google E-E-A-T guidelines and search intent.
- Structure content for featured snippets and AI-generated search results.
8. Continuous SEO Research & Innovation
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and industry trends.
- Test and implement new SEO tools, automation, and AI-driven optimization techniques.
- Recommend improvements to increase organic visibility and search performance.
- Perform keyword research and competitive analysis
- Understand and implement technical SEO audits and changes
- Execute on-page optimizations
- Implement changes in content management systems (CMS)
- Manage content production by planning content calendars, managing writers (or collaborating with content writing teams), and supporting them on SEO
- Devise and execute methods to track, report, analyze and improve SEO performance
- Collaborate with SEO managers and other in-house marketing teams
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to implement necessary features and changes
- Develop new SEO tests and strategies
- Present and communicate SEO strategies and projects to clients and/or internal stakeholders
- Serve as the key SEO expert/advocate
- Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, strategies, and algorithm changes
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, and Off-Page SEO
- Experience with SEO tools such as: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Lookers Studio, Microsoft clarity, Ranking tools, Experience with WordPress, wix, squarespace, webflow or similar CMS, Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Ability to identify, diagnose and solve SEO technical issues
Preferred Skills
- Experience in managing international SEO campaigns
- Experience with Local SEO / Google Business Profile
- Understanding of AI search trends and SGE
- Knowledge of conversion optimization
- Experience with content marketing strategies
Salary - 22k to 35k (based on experience)
Location - New Alipore, Kolkata
Employment Type - Full Time (on site)
Time - Monday to Saturday
10:30am to 7:30pm
