We are looking for an SEO Specialist to join our team in Mohali.
This role is primarily office-based, with occasional work-from-home flexibility.
We are looking for someone who understands how SEO is evolving and can work across both traditional SEO and modern search environments.
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience in SEO
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Business, or a related field
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
• Experience with keyword research, content optimisation, and performance tracking
Modern SEO Skillset (Important)
• Understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) and how to optimise content for featured snippets and AI-driven search
• Awareness of AI search platforms (Google SGE, ChatGPT, Bing AI) and how search behaviour is changing
• Ability to structure content for intent, entities, and semantic search
• Experience optimising for E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authority, Trust)
• Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and technical performance factors
• Understanding of schema markup / structured data
Website & WordPress Skills
• Comfortable working on WordPress websites (editing pages, implementing SEO changes, basic design/layout understanding)
• Ability to identify technical website issues and implement or coordinate fixes
Additional Requirements
• Comfortable working with international clients
• Strong analytical and communication skills
