As an SEO specialist at Legitt, you will be responsible for optimising our online presence to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic to our website. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing SEO strategies, performing keyword research, on-page and off-page optimisation, implementing website changes, and tracking the success of our SEO efforts. The primary accountability and responsibility for this position is to increase the traffic and conversion rate of website visitors to paid users.
Keyword Research And Analysis
The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions
:
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords for our industry.
- Analyse and prioritise keywords to target for optimisation.
On-Page Optimisation
- Optimise website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements to improve search engine rankings.
- Ensure content is SEO-friendly and aligns with best practices.
Off-Page Optimisation
- Plan and execute off-page SEO strategies, including link-building and outreach efforts.
- Establish and maintain quality backlinks from authoritative websites.
Technical SEO
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues that may impact website performance.
- Work with the development team to ensure site speed, mobile-friendliness, and other technical aspects meet SEO requirements.
Content Strategy
- Collaborate with content creators to develop and optimise content that aligns with SEO goals.
- Implement content strategies to enhance user engagement and retention.
Performance Monitoring
- Utilise SEO tools and analytics to track website performance and keyword rankings.
- Provide regular reports on key SEO metrics and make data-driven recommendations.
Stay Updated
- Stay current with industry trends, search engine algorithms, and SEO best practices.
- Proactively suggest improvements and adjustments based on new developments.
Requirements
- Experience: 1-3 years.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in SEO with a strong track record of improving search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
- Knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO techniques and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong project management and time management skills.
