About The Role
This is a full-time remote position for an SEO Specialist at Exact Funnel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SEO principles and hands-on experience with various tools and techniques to optimize websites effectively. The role involves conducting detailed keyword research, performing comprehensive SEO audits, analyzing web analytics data, and implementing on-page SEO strategies to enhance website performance. The SEO Specialist will work closely with our content and technical teams to identify and resolve SEO issues, ensuring our clients’ websites are optimized for search engines and deliver maximum visibility.
The Two Most Critical Aspects Of This Role Are
- Proficiency in identifying technical issues using tools like ScreamingFrog and resolving most of these issues independently, while knowing when to escalate to developers for complex problems.
- Expertise in content creation and on-page optimization of service pages or web content, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices.
Additionally, familiarity with Google Search Console (GSC) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is essential for tracking and analyzing website performance metrics to inform optimization strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in keyword research and conducting detailed SEO audits to identify opportunities and technical issues.
- Hands-on experience with GA4 and GSC for tracking website performance and user behavior.
- Strong knowledge of on-page SEO, including meta tags, header tags, internal linking, and content optimization.
- Experience working with SEO tools such as SEMrush, ScreamingFrog, and other relevant software to support analysis and implementation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and clients.
Responsibilities
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for executing and managing various aspects of SEO campaigns, including but not limited to:
- Conducting keyword research to identify high-value search terms relevant to client industries and target audiences.
- Performing comprehensive SEO audits to assess website health, identify technical issues, and recommend improvements.
- Utilizing tools like ScreamingFrog to crawl websites, detect technical SEO issues, and implement fixes or coordinate with developers.
- Optimizing website content, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking structures to improve search engine rankings.
- Analyzing web analytics data from GA4 and GSC to monitor performance, understand user behavior, and refine SEO strategies.
- Collaborating with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with targeted keywords and audience intent.
- Implementing on-page SEO best practices and ensuring that all web pages are optimized for relevant keywords and search engine algorithms.
- Staying updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to continually enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Providing regular reports and insights to clients and internal teams regarding campaign progress, challenges, and opportunities.
