About the Role
Datsutra is looking for a performance-driven SEO Specialist who understands modern search beyond just keywords — including AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
This role is ideal for someone who can execute fast, experiment, and show measurable growth through organic channels.
Key Responsibilities
- SEO Strategy & Execution Plan and execute end-to-end SEO strategy (On-page + Off-page + Technical basics)
- Optimize existing content and create new SEO-focused content plans
- AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) Structure content for featured snippets, FAQs, and zero-click searches
- Optimize for voice search and conversational queries
- GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) Optimize content to rank in AI-generated results (ChatGPT, Google SGE, etc.)
- Work on entity-based SEO, topical authority, and structured data
- Guest Posting & Link Building Identify and outreach to relevant websites for backlinks
- Execute guest posting campaigns with quality control
- Build and maintain a backlink pipeline
- Content Optimization Work with writers and AI tools to create SEO-friendly, high-ranking content
- Implement internal linking and content clustering
- Tracking & Reporting Monitor rankings, traffic, and keyword performance
- Share weekly performance reports with actionable insights
Must-Have Skills- Strong understanding of On-page & Off-page SEO
- Hands-on experience with Guest Posting & Link Building
- Knowledge of AEO & evolving SEO trends (SGE, AI search)
- Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4
- Basic understanding of technical SEO (indexing, schema, site structure)
- Ability to execute independently with minimal supervision
Good to Have- Experience with programmatic SEO
- Understanding of content marketing funnels
- Exposure to international SEO or SaaS SEO
