Role Summary:
We are looking for a strategic and performance-driven SEO Manager to lead organic growth
initiatives across SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and Answer Engine
Optimization (AEO). This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, content strategy,
analytics, and leadership to drive visibility, traffic, discoverability, and business growth
across traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms.
Ideal Experience: 6–8 years
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute integrated organic growth strategies across SEO, GEO, and AEO aligned with brand and business objectives.
- Drive visibility across search engines, AI-driven discovery platforms, conversational search, and answer engines.
- Develop and oversee content strategies focused on search intent, keyword optimization, featured snippets, conversational queries, and AI-generated answer visibility.
- Collaborate closely with content, media, UX, development, and brand teams to integrate SEO best practices across all digital touchpoints.
- Oversee technical SEO including site architecture, crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, mobile optimization, structured data, and schema implementation.
- Ensure website readiness for AI crawlers and generative engines through semantic structuring, entity optimization, and AI discoverability practices.
- Monitor and optimize KPIs including organic traffic, rankings, featured snippets, AI visibility, answer engine presence, CTR, and conversion performance.
- Lead authority-building initiatives through backlinks, digital PR, brand mentions, entity-building, and AI citation opportunities.
- Analyze SEO and search performance data to derive actionable insights and optimization opportunities.
- Stay updated on evolving search engine algorithms, AI search trends, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and future-ready SEO strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and guide SEO team members while establishing strong execution and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership teams to align organic growth strategies with broader marketing and business goals.
- Support new business initiatives and strategic pitches with SEO-driven insights, recommendations, and growth opportunities.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong expertise in SEO strategy, technical SEO, and organic growth frameworks.
- Deep understanding of keyword strategy, search intent, and performance-driven content optimization.
- Strong knowledge of GEO, AEO, AI discoverability, and evolving search ecosystems.
- Experience with structured data, schema markup, crawl optimization, and AI search readiness.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO reporting tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage teams, workflows, timelines, and multiple priorities efficiently.
Good to Have:
- Experience working with luxury, fashion, jewellery, or D2C brands.
- Understanding of performance marketing and integrated digital campaigns.
- Experience with SEO automation tools, AI-driven optimization workflows, and advanced analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of digital PR, entity SEO, and authority-building strategies.
- Experience managing SEO in fast-paced agency or growth-focused environments.
