We are expanding our digital marketing division and looking for a Senior SEO Manager / Technical SEO Lead who can drive organic growth, manage SEO strategy, lead a team, and work closely with clients, developers, and marketing teams.
This role requires a strong technical SEO expert with hands-on implementation experience, especially in software, SaaS, and technology-driven platforms.
Role Overview
The Senior SEO Manager will lead end-to-end SEO strategy, including technical SEO, analytics tracking, outreach campaigns, and organic growth planning.
You will manage a team of SEO specialists, collaborate with developers for technical implementation, and work directly with clients to explain strategies and identify opportunities for digital growth.
This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Growth Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies across technical SEO, on-page optimization, and off-page authority building.
- Define organic growth roadmaps, keyword strategies, and content frameworks.
- Conduct competitor analysis and search landscape research.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm changes, ranking factors, and SEO trends.
- Identify opportunities to improve organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.
Technical SEO & Website Optimization
- Conduct detailed technical SEO audits including:
- crawlability
- indexing
- Core Web Vitals
- site architecture
- page speed
- mobile optimization
- Resolve technical issues related to:
- canonicalization
- redirects
- duplicate content
- internal linking structure
- Implement schema markup and structured data.
- Work closely with developers to implement technical SEO improvements.
- Optimize websites for mobile-first indexing and scalable architecture.
Analytics, Tracking & Google Tag Manager
- Implement and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) for website tracking.
- Configure event tracking for buttons, forms, and user interactions.
- Set up conversion tracking and funnel tracking in GA4.
- Implement and maintain integrations between GTM, GA4, Google Ads, and third-party tools.
- Troubleshoot tracking issues and ensure accurate data measurement.
Keyword Research & Content SEO
- Conduct advanced keyword research using tools such as SEMrush and Ahrefs.
- Build content strategies aligned with search intent and product positioning.
- Optimize landing pages, product pages, and blogs for SEO performance.
- Identify content gaps and topical authority opportunities.
- Work with content teams to create SEO-optimized content assets.
Off-Page SEO & Outreach Campaigns
- Develop and manage link-building and outreach campaigns.
- Build relationships with high-authority websites, industry blogs, and publishers.
- Secure backlinks through:
- guest posting
- digital PR
- partnerships
- resource placements
- Monitor backlink profiles and conduct toxic link audits.
- Implement white-hat link acquisition strategies.
Team Leadership & Project Management
- Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists.
- Establish processes for SEO audits, outreach campaigns, and reporting.
- Manage multiple SEO projects and ensure timely delivery.
- Train team members on technical SEO, tracking implementation, and outreach strategies.
Reporting, Analysis & Client Communication
- Track SEO performance using:
- Google Analytics 4
- Google Search Console
- SEMrush
- Ahrefs
- Looker Studio
- Monitor KPIs including:
- organic traffic
- keyword rankings
- CTR
- conversions
- backlink growth
- Prepare data-driven SEO reports with actionable insights.
- Present strategies and performance reports to clients.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of SEO experience, with proven results in organic growth.
- Strong experience in technical SEO implementation.
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Google Tag Manager
- GA4 tracking
- Search Console
- Screaming Frog
- SEMrush / Ahrefs
- Experience executing outreach and link-building campaigns.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as:
- WordPress
- Shopify
- Magento
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with SaaS platforms or software companies.
- Strong understanding of Technical SEO and modern web frameworks.
- Experience with international SEO and multi-region websites.
- Familiarity with CRO tools such as Microsoft Clarity, heatmap tools and Google Analytics.
- Understanding of PPC and integrated marketing strategies.
