Role Overview
We are looking for a curious, analytical, and detail-oriented SEO Intern to support our organic growth efforts across websites and digital marketplaces. This role combines technical SEO understanding, content optimization, keyword research, and performance tracking. The intern will work closely with the marketing and content teams to improve search visibility, identify ranking opportunities, and help execute SEO initiatives that drive measurable traffic growth.
Key Responsibilities
Technical SEO & Website Audits
• Conduct regular technical site audits to identify issues related to crawlability, indexing, broken links,
on-page errors, and basic site health.
• Monitor Google Search Console for coverage issues, indexing updates, and search performance trends.
• Support implementation of SEO best practices such as schema recommendations, internal linking
improvements, XML sitemap checks, and robots.txt reviews.
• Track website performance metrics and assist in identifying opportunities to improve page speed and
user experience.
Keyword Research & Content Optimization
• Perform keyword research to identify high-intent and relevant search opportunities for blogs, landing
pages, and website content.
• Assist in optimizing page titles, meta descriptions, headings, image alt text, and internal links for SEO. • Refresh and update existing content to improve rankings, traffic, and search relevance.
• Work with the content team to ensure articles and website pages are aligned with SEO best practices.
SEO Tools, Analytics & Reporting
• Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or
similar platforms to gather actionable insights.
• Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, impressions, and click-through rates.
• Support weekly and monthly SEO reporting with key observations, learnings, and recommendations.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify content gaps, backlink opportunities, and ranking benchmarks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Skills
• Basic understanding of SEO concepts including keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, and
search engine indexing.
• Working knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and at least one SEO tool is
preferred.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets, data interpretation, and drawing insights from performance trends.
• Good written English with the ability to create or optimize content in a clear, structured way.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or CMS platforms such as WordPress is a plus.
