Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated SEO Intern who is passionate about digital growth and search optimization. The role involves working closely with the marketing team to improve organic visibility, website traffic, and search rankings.
Key Responsibilities (KRA)
- Conduct keyword research and identify SEO opportunities
- Optimize website content, blogs, and landing pages for search engines
- Assist in on-page SEO (meta tags, headings, internal linking, etc.)
- Support off-page SEO activities (backlinks, directory submissions, outreach)
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics & Search Console
- Track keyword rankings and prepare performance reports
- Collaborate with content and design teams for SEO-friendly content
- Stay updated with latest SEO trends and algorithm updates
Requirements
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and digital marketing
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs (preferred)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of WordPress or CMS platforms
- Understanding of content marketing and blogging
- Knowledge of backlinks and domain authority concepts
