The SEO & GEO Team Lead will be responsible for building, training, and scaling a high-performing organic visibility team. This is a hybrid leadership role requiring deep technical expertise in traditional search engine optimization (SEO) and an advanced, forward-thinking approach to Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). The Team Lead will architect standard operating procedures (SOPs), drive technical strategy, and oversee the execution team (Analysts, Link Builders, and Content Creators) to deliver elite-level results for our global and regional clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and scale the SEO/GEO team.
- Develop technical SEO and GEO strategies for client projects.
- Perform advanced technical SEO audits, schema implementation, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
- Optimize websites for AI search platforms and LLMs ( ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.).
- Ensure quality assurance, monitor algorithm updates, and improve search performance.
- Collaborate with Development and Project teams to deliver SEO/GEO-ready solutions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of SEO experience with 1–2 years in a Team Lead/Manager role.
- Strong expertise in Technical SEO, HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, Schema, and Programmatic SEO.
- Knowledge of AI Search, GEO, LLMs, Entity SEO, and Knowledge Graphs.
- Experience with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; Malayalam is preferred.
