Experience: 4–7 years relevant SEO experience
We are hiring a hands-on SEO Expert, having skills in AEO/GEO/AIO, Local & International SEO, not a general Digital Marketer.
This role is for someone who has personally managed SEO campaigns, solved technical SEO problems, improved local and organic visibility, and can demonstrate how their work resulted in traffic, rankings, qualified leads, conversions, or revenue.
What we actually need
The candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of:
- Technical SEO: crawling, indexing, robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonicals, redirects, status codes, duplicate content, Core Web Vitals, site architecture, JavaScript SEO basics and schema
- On-page SEO: search intent, keyword mapping, internal linking, content optimization and landing-page optimization
- Local SEO: Google Business Profile, local landing pages, citations/NAP, reviews, local keyword strategy and local rankings
- International SEO: experience working on projects targeting markets such as the US, UK, UAE, Australia or other international markets
- AEO/GEO & AI Search: Google AI Overviews, entity optimization, structured content, schema and optimization for AI-driven discovery
- Analytics: GA4, Google Search Console, GTM and conversion tracking
- SEO Tools: Screaming Frog + Semrush/Ahrefs or equivalent
- Reporting: ability to connect SEO work with business KPIs—not just keyword ranking reports
- Organic Lead Generation: understanding how SEO traffic is converted into enquiries, appointments, leads or sales
- Competitor & Content Gap Analysis
- CRO: ability to identify why an organically ranking page isn't converting
What you'll be responsible for
You will independently manage SEO projects from audit → strategy → implementation → measurement → optimization.
You'll work on Indian as well as international client projects and coordinate with developers, content writers and marketing teams.
We expect you to identify problems yourself, not wait for a checklist from the manager.
Mandatory proof during interview
Shortlisted candidates may be asked to present 2 real SEO case studies/projects.
Be prepared to explain:
1. Starting situation – What was wrong?
2. Your work – What did you personally implement?
3. Technical issues – What did you discover and fix?
4. Results – Traffic/rankings/leads/conversions/revenue before vs. after.
5. Evidence – GA4, GSC, Semrush/Ahrefs or equivalent reporting.
Client-confidential information may be hidden. We are interested in understanding your actual contribution and SEO thinking, not confidential data.
Applications that don't meet the above requirements will not be shortlisted.
Please DO NOT apply if:
You have less than 4 years of hands-on SEO experience
Your primary experience is Social Media, Meta Ads, Google Ads or general Digital Marketing
Your SEO experience is mainly backlinks, directory submissions, bookmarking and off-page activities
You have never independently performed a Technical SEO Audit
You have no practical Local SEO / Google Business Profile experience
You cannot work confidently with GA4 + Google Search Console
You cannot show at least 2 SEO projects/case studies with measurable results
You have only theoretical knowledge of AEO/GEO/AI Search not the practical experience with visiblle KPIs
You are looking for remote or hybrid work
