Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist to manage and improve our organic search performance. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of SEO techniques, strong analytical skills, and a passion for staying updated with evolving search engine algorithms. Experience in the fashion/e-commerce space is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed SEO audits (technical, on-page, and off-page) and implement action plans to improve website performance
- Perform comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify content opportunities
- Optimize website architecture, page content, meta tags, alt text, internal linking, and URL structures
- Monitor and manage the health of the website using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and semrush
- Develop and execute a robust backlink-building strategy aligned with SEO goals
- Collaborate with the content and design teams to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into all digital assets
- Analyze competitors’ SEO strategies and recommend improvements to enhance our search engine rankings
- Generate monthly SEO performance reports with actionable insights
- Ensure alignment between SEO strategy and business goals (e.g., traffic growth, conversion, product visibility)
- Stay current with industry trends, algorithm updates, and evolving best practices
- Provide SEO recommendations for new product launches, campaigns, and website updates
- Work closely with developers to resolve technical SEO issues and implement structured data
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT, Communications, or related field
- 2–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in fashion, retail, or e-commerce
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Proficiency with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Google Search Console
- Experience in creating and implementing backlink strategies
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (Shopify, WordPress, etc.)
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
