About the Role
We’re looking for an SEO Executive who can go beyond execution and contribute to organic growth as a measurable business channel. This role involves managing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives while aligning closely with content, product, and analytics teams to drive traffic, rankings, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research aligned with business intent, not just search volume.
- Optimize website pages (on-page SEO, metadata, internal linking, content structure) to improve rankings and user experience.
- Execute and monitor technical SEO elements including crawlability, indexing, site speed, and structured data.
- Plan and implement content strategies in collaboration with content teams, focusing on topical authority and search intent.
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and third-party platforms.
- Perform competitor analysis and identify gaps in content, backlinks, and keyword positioning.
- Execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and page rankings.
- Identify opportunities for AI Overviews / LLM visibility (GEO) and optimize content accordingly.
- Work with developers and designers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across the website.
- Prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights—not just data dumps.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Marketing or related field preferred).
- 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO fundamentals.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.
- Understanding of search intent, keyword mapping, and content optimization frameworks.
- Basic understanding of HTML, schema markup, and website structures.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into actions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on enterprise or multi-location SEO projects.
- Exposure to AI-driven search (GEO, AI Overviews, entity-based SEO).
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify.
- Certification in Google Analytics or SEO tools.
