We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented SEO Content Executive to own the end-to-end content pipeline across multiple client accounts. You will work closely with the SEO Lead to execute the content strategy — handling keyword research, content planning, writing or coordinating with writers, and publishing — so that organic visibility and traffic goals are consistently met.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the analytical side of SEO and the craft of content creation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Keyword Research & Content Planning
• Conduct keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner, or Ubersuggest to identify blog and content opportunities
• Analyse search intent (informational, navigational, commercial) and map keywords to the appropriate content format
• Build and maintain a monthly content calendar for each client based on priority keywords and business goals
• Identify content gaps by analysing competitor blogs and existing client content
2. Content Briefing & Writing
• Create structured content briefs covering target keyword, secondary keywords, suggested headings, word count, tone, and reference links — for assignment to external or in-house content writers
• Write SEO-optimised blog posts independently when required, ensuring proper keyword placement, readability, and on-page best practices
• Review and edit content from writers for SEO compliance, factual accuracy, and quality before publishing
• Ensure all content aligns with the client's brand voice and target audience
3. On-Page SEO Optimisation
• Optimise each piece of content with proper title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure (H1–H3), internal linking, and image alt text
• Follow best practices for URL structure, keyword density, and readability (Flesch score, paragraph length)
• Update and re-optimise older blog posts to improve or maintain rankings
4. Publishing & CMS Management
• Publish blog posts and web pages directly on WordPress (or the client's CMS) with proper formatting, categories, tags, and featured images
• Ensure correct schema markup or structured data is applied wherever applicable
• Coordinate with the web team if technical publishing issues arise
5. Reporting & Tracking
• Track and report monthly blog performance — rankings, organic traffic, impressions, and click-through rates — using Google Search Console and Google Analytics
• Flag underperforming content and suggest improvements
• Share a brief monthly content report for each client to the SEO Lead
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 1–3 years of experience in SEO content writing, blogging, or a related digital marketing role
• Working knowledge of at least one keyword research tool: Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest
• Strong written communication skills in English; ability to adapt tone and style for different client verticals
• Hands-on experience publishing content on WordPress or a similar CMS
• Understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals: title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple client deadlines, and prioritise effectively
• Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics for basic performance tracking
Nice to Have
• Experience coordinating with freelance content writers and briefing them
• Knowledge of tools like Surfer SEO, NeuronWriter, or Frase for content optimisation
• Basic understanding of technical SEO (site speed, crawlability, indexing) — not hands-on, but enough to communicate with the SEO lead
• Prior experience handling multiple client accounts in an agency setting
