Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site SEO Associate role based in Puducherry, India. The SEO Associate will support search engine optimization initiatives, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO checks to improve organic visibility and traffic. Daily responsibilities include analyzing website performance using analytics tools, monitoring rankings, preparing performance reports, and collaborating with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO recommendations. The role also involves staying updated on search engine algorithm changes, researching competitors, and suggesting data-driven strategies to enhance overall digital marketing efforts.
Requirements
- Strong skills in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO, including content optimization and technical on-page elements.
- 1–3 years of experience in SEO or a similar digital marketing role.
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive SEO Audits and implementing corrective actions.
- Knowledge of Social Media Marketing to align organic search efforts with broader digital campaigns.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and major keyword research platforms.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and present clear SEO performance reports.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Up-to-date understanding of search engine algorithms and industry best practices.
