SEO, AEO and GEO Intern
Renergy Technologies is hiring a full-time, remote intern in India to grow how often renergytech.com shows up in Google and in AI answers. The internship starts as soon as possible and runs to December 2026, with a stipend of ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 a month. This is a performance-driven role for self-starters.
About Renergy and TemperatureWise
Renergy Technologies is a small software company in the Toronto area. Its main product, TemperatureWise, monitors walk-in coolers and freezers for restaurants, schools, food distributors and cold storage sites across the US and Canada. It catches refrigeration faults days before the food is at risk.
We are on a tear to improve renergytech.com's visibility in Google and in AI answers (SEO, AEO and GEO). You will help research, write, check and measure the pages that get us there.
What you will do
- Find the real question behind each page. Read Reddit threads, Google's "People also ask" boxes, technician forums and manufacturer manuals.
- Draft pages with AI tools inside our content system. You write one structured file per page, and a script builds the finished page.
- Review every page before it goes live. Check each figure against its source, catch what the AI got wrong, and flag anything a refrigeration technician would object to.
- Shape pages for answer engines (AEO and GEO). A direct answer at the top, FAQ blocks, structured data and internal links.
- Track results in Google Search Console and Google Analytics (GA4): impressions, clicks, positions, and where AI answers cite us or our competitors.
- Run small experiments, such as new titles, FAQ formats or internal links. Each one gets a hypothesis, a metric and a written result.
- Send a short report 2x per week: what shipped, what moved, and what you will try next. We do discussion together, and we keep moving.
What you need
- You are a self-starter. You take a brief, ask your questions early, and deliver without being chased.
- Basic refrigeration knowledge. You can explain the refrigeration cycle (compressor, condenser, expansion valve, evaporator) and what a defrost cycle does. Mechanical engineering students who have taken a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning course fit well.
- SEO basics: search intent, keyword mapping, page structure and structured data, plus a working idea of how AI answer engines choose their sources.
- Hands-on Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console. You have run at least one data-driven experiment, even a small one, and can say what you changed, what you measured and what you learned.
- Clear, plain English. You can explain a technical problem to a restaurant owner in short sentences.
- You use AI tools every day and know where they go wrong.
Nice to have
- Ahrefs, Semrush or Ubersuggest analysis.
- Comfortable editing JSON or HTML and running a Python script
- HVAC or refrigeration coursework, an internship.
- Writing for a technical or business audience
How we work
This role is performance-driven. In your first week we agree on clear weekly targets: pages researched, reviewed and shipped, and experiments run. We review progress every two weeks and give you direct feedback.
If the work still falls short after that feedback, we will end the internship early. We say this up front so nobody is surprised.
In return you get a clear brief, good tools and a lot of independence. Nobody will chase you for updates. We expect you to bring them proactively.
Use AI for as much of the work as you can. Every page still has to read like someone who knows refrigeration wrote it, and leave the reader with something they can act on. No AI slop.
Stipend and logistics
- Dates: full-time, from as soon as possible to December 2026
- Stipend: ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 a month, depending on your assignment
- Location: remote, from anywhere in India
- Hours: a few hours of evening overlap (IST) each week for calls with Toronto
- Team: you work directly with the founder

Use AI as much as you like, but tell us how you used it.
