About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Sales and Marketing enthusias to join our team. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge in machine vision systems, image processing, and cameras, with a keen interest in developing expertise in this field. Prior experience is a plus, but fresh graduates with a passion for technology and a willingness to learn are welcome. The Junior Vision Engineer will assist in designing, testing, and optimizing vision-based solutions, collaborating with senior engineers, and contributing to innovative projects in machine vision application.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate customer requirements and develop solutions for turnkey machine vision system for manufacturing applications
- Evaluate and select lighting and optics to create imaging front end
- Data collection of the samples provided by the customers
- Preparation of feasibility report
- Integrate turnkey machine vision system with robot and automation equipment and make adjustments, troubleshoot and debug systems.
- Need to travel and work in a factory environment to install and support machine vision systems to make sure all machines are qualified and ready for production according to schedule.
- May provide supervision to other team members at machine builder sites and contract manufacturer (CM) production sites.
- Help to prepare Standard Operating Procedures for machine vision setup, train other team members and provide support during overall machine setup and maintenance.
- Troubleshooting and analyzing the issues happened on site, and providing failure analysis (FA) reports.
- Communicate with both internal and external customers to establish a good working relationship.
- Provide daily status and progress reports and attend update meetings.
-Capable of providing rapid response and problem solving, knows when to escalate and obtain help when necessary.
- Willing to travel according to support needs. May require working in a different city/region.
