About the role

Do you want to create #MoreTimeForCare?

About Sensio

Sensio is a Nordic leader in the health care technology sector and solves today's and tomorrow’s elderly care challenges for the benefit of residents, patients, healthcare personnel, and society. We create sensors, systems, and platforms that radically improve the quality and efficiency of health care – leading the sector to embrace technology and provide #MoreTimeForCare.

Sensio is on a journey from being the leading tech company in Scandinavia in the elderly care space to becoming a trusted transformation partner across Europe. In 2024, we were acquired by Nordic Capital, one of Europe’s top private equity companies. Sensio has one of the leading in-house product development organizations in Norway with about 80 product people - in total we are a team of 210 colleagues across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the UK, and Germany.

About the role

We are now hiring a Solutions Architect to join our newly established Shared Services organization. This role will play a critical part in improving Sensio’s technical delivery across borders, working closely with local tech delivery teams, R&D, and sales. You’ll be involved in high-impact implementation projects where your job is to ensure that what we deliver is feasible, scalable, and excellent.

This is not a typical network or infrastructure role. It’s broader, more strategic, and impact-focused. You’ll act as the technical bridge between product, delivery, and customer success, ensuring we deliver solutions that work and scale. When things get complicated, you’re the one people turn to. When projects succeed, it’s because you helped make it happen. The role reports to the COO and is based at our HQ in Oslo.

Who are our customers?

At Sensio, we work closely with care institutions—primarily nursing homes and other facilities for the elderly. In the Nordics, our customers are mostly publicly funded municipal care providers. In markets like the UK and Germany, they are typically privately operated groups.

Our customers rely on Sensio’s technology to support critical day-to-day care services. That means the systems you help deliver must be robust, secure, and user-friendly - and you must be comfortable collaborating with diverse stakeholders like IT departments, healthcare personnel, third-party vendors, and installers. Every time a fall is prevented, a nurse saves time, or a patient gets better sleep - it’s because of the solutions you help implement.

Responsibilities

  • Own and elevate Sensio’s technical delivery standards across countries and teams.
  • Lead technical scoping and stakeholder dialogue with customer IT, installers, and project managers.
  • Define and communicate clear pre-deployment requirements to prevent implementation issues.
  • Contribute to and QA technical documentation, ensuring clarity and usability.
  • Solve delivery challenges hands-on, especially in projects at risk or already in trouble.
  • Evaluate customer specific requirements for complex implementations and integrations (e.g., Entra ID, EPJ systems, wearables).
  • Improve internal processes and share best practices across delivery teams.
  • Support Sales in crafting technically sound solutions during pre-sales dialogues.
  • Balance strategic insight with hands-on problem-solving. You operate well at all levels.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, IT infrastructure, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of distributed, high-availability systems and hybrid architectures (on-prem + cloud).
  • Broad technical background, with the ability to go deep when needed.
  • Analytical mindset and excellent written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with security, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies in critical system environments.
  • MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English.
  • Experience working with physical hardware implementations is a plus.

What we offer

  • A unique opportunity to influence the development of care technology – making a difference for health care personnel, patients, and next-of-kin.
  • The opportunity to lead and change how we deliver value to our customers.
  • Be a part of a Norwegian tech company with ambitions of becoming a global leader.
  • Join and impact a culture with dedicated colleagues and a strong technical foundation.
  • Great opportunities for professional and personal development.
  • Modern office located in Møllergata.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • Competitive compensation, pension plan and insurances.
