<div class="benefits"> <div><strong>Benefits:</strong></div> <ul> <li>401(k)</li> <li>401(k) matching</li> <li>Dental insurance</li> <li>Health insurance</li> <li>Paid time off</li> </ul> </div> <div class="trix-content"> <div> <br>Position Title:                HVAC Technician<br>Reports To:                    HVAC Team Lead</div><div>Classification:               Non-Exempt</div><div> <br><br> </div><div><strong>Position Summary:</strong></div><div>To assist in achievement of the company's strategic objective and annual goals through the delivery of exceptional service and support reflective of Sensigreen Heating, Cooling, & Insulation (the Company) vision, mission, purpose, and values.</div><h1>Responsibilities:</h1><div>•             Create a positive customer experience by completing the service correctly the first time with quality and care to applicable codes, to avoid refunds and recalls.</div><div>•             Mentor and develop apprentices under his/her care to achieve desired performance metrics.</div><div>•             Perform a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection including Health and Safety Checklist </div><div>•             Understand when to issue a "Lock Out/Tag Out" tag and the required follow-up steps.</div><div>•             When issues are identified, prepare a detailed finding report with pictures to discuss with the customer. Present repair options to include cost using the options sheet.</div><div>•             Complete all required documentation on services and collect, record, and deliver fees to designated office administration.</div><div>•             Responsible to contact dispatch to disposition recall and warranty jobs to assure they are recorded correctly.</div><div>•             Facilitate ESP(inventory) order for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service.</div><div>•             Record all material used or consumed on the job for job costing and replenishing.</div><div>•             Work with manager/dispatch to reschedule a follow-up appointment with the customer when the work was not completed during the initial appointment.</div><div>•             Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned tools.</div><div>•             Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried.</div><div>•             Protect customer's home from damage while working and leave customer's home cleaner than when you arrived.</div><div>•             Coordinate with other departments to ensure appropriate job objectives are met effectively and completely.</div><div>•             Inform a team lead/supervisor/manager if the customer does not have HVAC service before leaving the call.</div><div>•             Communicate the benefits of Club Memberships.</div><div>•             Report any safety issues to team lead, supervisor, and/or manager.</div><div>•             Perform other duties as assigned.</div><div> </div><div><strong> Requirements:</strong></div><div>•             EPA Certified required.</div><div>•             A High School diploma or general education degree (GED} required.</div><div>•             A minimum of five years' experience preferred but not required with manager's approval in maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC service issues.</div><div>•             A valid driver's license and approved to drive by Company's insurance carrier.</div><div>•             Must be highly organized with good attention to detail and follow through.</div><div>•             Possess good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.</div><div>•             Team player working in a team environment.</div><div>•             Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.</div><div>•             Must be able to use a computer tablet, smart phone and read a map or follow GPS.</div><div> <br><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong> </div><div>•             Works in indoor/outdoor elements with extreme variation in temperatures and weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow} at least 70% of the time.</div><div>•            Climbs ladders and steep stairs. Majority of time spent standing, stooping, bending, crouching,</div><div>kneeling, sitting, and reaching. Often works in tight spaces such as attics and/or crawlspaces.</div><div>•             Must be able to lift 50 pounds with ability to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices}.</div><div>•             Occasionally works from heights 15 feet or higher above ground.</div><div>•             Carries 24 ft extension ladder alone and/or 40 ft extension ladder with a fellow-coworker on most jobs.</div><div>•             Have good visual acuity.</div><div> <br><strong>Position Specific Standards:</strong> </div><div>•             Willing to continue training for personal growth as well as participating in the training of new employees.</div><div>•             Willing to work hours outside of normal work schedule, if needed.</div><div>•             Maintain confidentially on all private, sensitive, and proprietary business issues and concerns.</div><div>•             Wire and trouble shoot zoning systems (zone boards, dampers, thermostats)</div><div>•             Knowledge of proper mechanical codes and installation guidelines</div><div>•             Perform system performance testing including static pressure, airflow (CFM), and capacity checks.                                                            </div><div>•             Diagnose and repair warranty and service issues.</div><div>•             Experience using Service Titan for job notes, photos and invoicing preferred</div><div>•             Replace, repair and modify ductwork on new construction and retrofit jobs</div><div>•             Participate in rotating on call schedule</div><div>•             Maintain clean, professional workmanship and customer communication.</div><div><br></div><div> <br><br> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div> </div>
