Senior Workplace Consultant | ErgoDot
The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-impact Senior Workplace Consultant to spearhead our presence in Surat and the South Gujarat region. As a key member of the ErgoDot team, you will bridge the gap between world-class engineering and the elite commercial landscape of the South.
ErgoDot represents the pinnacle of workplace innovation as the exclusive dealer for Herman Miller and a strategic partner for Hunter Douglas. This role is for a seasoned professional who understands that a high-performance workspace requires the perfect synergy of ergonomic seating and precision light management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Community Engagement: Leverage deep-rooted contacts with Architects and Interior Designers to ensure ErgoDot (Herman Miller & Hunter Douglas) is the primary specification for premium projects.
- Total Workplace Solutions: Consult on integrated environments, combining ergonomic furniture with Hunter Douglas Window Shade solutions. You will educate clients on how to protect interiors from glare while managing daylight penetration—ranging from soft light filtration to complete room darkening.
- Strategic Market Outreach: Conduct "one-to-one" visits (REKI) to commercial buildings, corporate hubs, and industrial estates to identify new business opportunities.
- Consultative Sales: Act as a subject matter expert for Gems & Jewelry (Diamond Industry), Textile Giants, Corporates, and Professionals, translating technical benefits (spinal health and automated light control) into value for their specific workflows.
- Showroom & Demo Leadership: Facilitate high-end walk-ins at our Surat Experience Center. Manage the strategic deployment of "Demo Chairs" and demonstrate manual/remote-controlled shading systems to elite clients.
- Solution Design: Provide expert inputs on interior layouts and conceptual solutions, ensuring furniture and window treatments integrate seamlessly into the client’s spatial vision.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 5–8 years in high-end furniture, premium building materials (shading/glass/lighting), or luxury lifestyle solutions.
- Network: Mandatory established relationships with top-tier Interior Designers, Architects, and key stakeholders in the Diamond and Textile industries within South Gujarat.
- Technical Knowledge: * A strong grasp of ergonomic principles and spinal health.
- Understanding of Light Management: Ability to explain the benefits of automated/manual shading for thermal and visual comfort.
- Ability to interpret and consult on interior layouts and workspace concepts.
- Presence: A sophisticated communicator comfortable engaging with HNI clients, Diamond Bourse members, and C-suite executives.
- Location: Based in Surat (covering Surat, Vapi, Valsad, and the South Gujarat belt).
