We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Workflow Specialist. This full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai, India and offers global coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Operations and its growth.
Purpose of the role -
In this role, you will play an active role between Operations and Technology to work through solutions. As the lead you will be responsible for configuration and implementation of the designed workflow within the workflow management engine. You'll work closely with Operations to build templates and milestones, user permissions and master template maintenance. You will also help in gathering requirements and translating them into technical configurations, ensuring simplified workflows for the different processes within Finance,
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Configuration:
- Assist Project team with the configuration of workflow systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and processes.
- Design, configure, and implement workflows, templates, dashboards, and other system elements.
- Manage configuration settings, system parameters, and user roles to optimize system performance.
2. System Integration:
- Collaborate with IT, Technology, and Architecture teams to ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems as required.
- Assist with data migration and integration tasks, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
3. Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional requirements.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and workshops to gather business requirements and align stakeholder objectives.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the configuration meets functional and technical specifications.
- Identify and resolve configuration issues, ensuring a smooth transition to production.
5. Documentation and Training:
- Create detailed configuration documentation, including process flows, user guides, and logs.
- Assist with use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria as required
- Provide support to end users and stakeholders on the configured system
6. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Stay updated on the tool’s new features and updates
Key requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Workflow system experience: Hands-on experience with the workflow tool, specifically in configuration and testing.
- Workflow system expertise: Deep understanding of workflow design principles, process automation, and business process optimization techniques.
- Data migration and integration experience: Experience with data migration and integration tasks, including ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical configurations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business teams, IT, and third-party vendors.
- Collaboration and teamwork: Comfortable working in a team environment and collaborating with others to achieve project goals.
- Analytical and Problem-solving skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and security protocols: Understanding of IT infrastructure, security protocols, and compliance standards relevant to system configuration and deployment can be an asset.
- Workflow tool Implementation experience in finance and operations domain of more than 5+ years in a shared service centre.
Technical Requirements:
- Data Handling: Experience working with datasets, understanding data flow, and ensuring data consistency.
- SDLC methodologies : Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies is an added advantage
Education and Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or management studies.
