We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in custom WordPress development, modern frontend technologies, and headless architecture. This role requires someone who can independently handle complex development tasks, build scalable solutions, and contribute to performance-focused web projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Build responsive, high-performance, and SEO-friendly websites
• Work on Headless WordPress architecture and API integrations
• Develop frontend interfaces using JavaScript and Alpine.js
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services
• Optimize website speed, security, and overall performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently
• Collaborate with designers, SEO teams, and project managers
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and version control workflows
Required Skills:
• Strong experience in WordPress development
• Expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Strong knowledge of Alpine.js
• Experience with Headless WordPress technologies and REST APIs
• Good understanding of Gutenberg, custom themes, and custom plugins
• Experience with ACF, WooCommerce, and custom post types
• Knowledge of Git/version control systems
• Understanding of website optimization and technical SEO
• Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with React/Next.js is a plus
• Familiarity with WP Engine, Cloudflare, or server management
• Knowledge of modern frontend workflows and deployment processes
