About The Role:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across both front-end and back-end development and should have strong expertise in custom themes, plugins, and WordPress-based e-commerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and web applications
- Handle both front-end and back-end WordPress development
- Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements
- Work with WordPress page builders such as Elementor, Divi, Visual Composer, Thrive Architect, and Beaver Builder
- Implement payment gateways and integrate third-party APIs
- Configure, test, and launch WooCommerce plugins and e-commerce stores
- Manage website performance, security, and scalability
- Collaborate with designers and team members to deliver high-quality solutions
- Work independently on small projects and collaboratively on medium-sized projects
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in WordPress development
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Expertise in custom theme creation and customization
- Strong knowledge of plugin selection, customization, and optimization
- Experience with payment gateway integrations and third-party API integrations
- Hands-on experience with WooCommerce implementations
- Experience working with WP Engine
- Experience with ActiveCampaign integrations
- Understanding of API implementation using PHP or similar stacks
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
Good to Have:
- Experience working on e-commerce-focused WordPress projects
- Exposure to US-based clients or international projects
- Ability to manage end-to-end website development independently
- Agency experience is a plus
