Role Description The Senior Wealth Manager role is a full-time, on-site position (Locations across Western India), responsible for acquiring, managing and growing a portfolio of affluent clients. This role involves providing comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory, recommending suitable products across asset classes, and aligning client portfolios with their risk profiles and long-term goals. The Senior Wealth Manager will conduct periodic portfolio reviews, monitor market developments, and proactively suggest rebalancing and new opportunities. Day-to-day activities include meeting existing and prospective clients, understanding their financial needs, presenting tailored wealth management solutions, and coordinating with internal product, operations, and research teams to ensure smooth execution and high-quality service. The role also includes adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning skills, including goal-based planning, risk assessment, and asset allocation.
- Candidates should possess Investment Management and Investments expertise, with experience in multi-asset portfolios and product suitability assessment.
- Candidates should possess sound knowledge of Finance, including capital markets, debt instruments, tax-efficient investing, and regulatory frameworks.
- Candidates should possess skills and understanding related to Insurance solutions for protection planning, including health and life insurance.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, NISM) are an advantage.
- Proven experience in wealth management or private banking, serving affluent or high-net-worth clients, with a track record of client acquisition and retention.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Strong ethical standards, detail orientation, and commitment to regulatory compliance and responsible advisory practices.
