Job title: Senior vRO (VMware vRealize Orchestrator) Developer (6-8 yrs)

Job responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using VMware vRealize Orchestrator (vRO).
• Create and manage custom vRO workflows, actions, and plugins to automate infrastructure tasks.
• Integrate vRO with VMware vRealize Automation (vRA), vCenter, and other enterprise platforms.
• Develop scripts using JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs for automation.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of VMware virtual infrastructure.
• Work closely with DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to improve automation and orchestration processes.
• Implement and maintain vRO packages, version control, and CI/CD integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation workflows and orchestration tools.
• Develop documentation for automation processes, workflows, and integration procedures.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in automation solutions.
Required Skills
• Strong experience with VMware vRealize Orchestrator (vRO) development.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vRealize Automation (vRA) and VMware vSphere / vCenter.
• Strong scripting skills in JavaScript (vRO scripting), PowerShell, and/or Python.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration with third-party systems.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and orchestration concepts.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or VMware Cloud) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
