Creative Designer – Decor Visuals, Moodboards
About UsSumaaroh is a luxury wedding planning and event design company, curating timeless, high-end experiences for discerning clientele.
We are looking for a designer with a strong eye for décor, styling, and visual storytelling—someone who can translate ideas into refined moodboards, lookbooks, and presentation-ready concepts.
Role Focus (Core Expectation)This role is heavily focused on décor visualization.
You will be responsible for creating:
- Decor moodboards
- Client presentations
- Lookbooks and concept decks
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of wedding aesthetics, materials, color palettes, and spatial styling, and be able to present ideas in a clear, premium, and convincing visual format.
Key Responsibilities1. Decor Moodboards & Concept Design (Primary Role)- Create high-quality décor moodboards with strong visual direction
- Develop lookbooks and concept decks for client presentations
- Translate themes into cohesive design language (colors, textures, elements)
- Support the décor team with visual references and styling direction
- Ensure presentations are clean, sharp, and luxury-focused
2. Stationery & Event Collaterals- Design Save the Dates, e-invites, and guest-facing collaterals
- Create:
- Welcome notes
- Itineraries / wardrobe planners
- Signage, menus, standees
- Maintain visual consistency across all touchpoints
3. Motion Graphics (Bonus / Good to Have)- Animated e-invites and Save the Date videos
- Motion content for presentations and social media
What We’re Looking For- Strong experience in wedding décor design / visual styling
- Ability to create aesthetic, presentation-ready moodboards and decks
- Understanding of:
- Color theory
- Materials & textures
- Spatial decor concepts
- Someone who can visualise an event before it is built
Requirements- Proven experience in wedding / event design (preferred)
- Strong portfolio showcasing:
- Decor moodboards
- Lookbooks / presentations
- Wedding/event design work
- Proficiency in:
- Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Canva / Keynote / PowerPoint (for presentations)
- After Effects (optional but preferred)
What Sets You Apart- Ability to think like a decor stylist, not just a designer
- Strong sense of luxury aesthetics and detailing
- Experience working with wedding planners or decor teams
