Company Description
Rkivecity is a circular design studio transforming post-consumer materials into collectible garments and lifestyle objects. Based in India, the studio operates across D2C retail, B2B remanufacturing, and brand partnerships—reviving waste into value through design, repair, and storytelling.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Visual Designer who understands that great design is built over time—through systems, not singular gestures.
You will lead the visual direction of Rkivecity across every touchpoint, from printed matter and publications to digital communication and retail experiences. This role is for someone with a genuine appreciation for typography, editorial craft, archival thinking, and materiality—someone who finds meaning in the relationship between form, content, and context.

- Develop and maintain cohesive visual systems across print, digital, retail, and brand experiences.
- Contribute to long-term creative direction and strategic visual decisions beyond day-to-day execution.
- Collaborate closely with the founders to translate brand and collection narratives into thoughtful visual communication.
Design & Art Direction
- Art direct and design publications, lookbooks, catalogues, line sheets, packaging, printed matter, invitations, decals, and campaign assets.
- Oversee visual identity across social media and digital communication.
- Support UI/UX design for the website, ensuring consistency between digital and physical brand experiences.

- Build, organize, and maintain the brand's archive, documentation systems, and asset libraries.

- Ensure quality and visual consistency across all design outputs.
- Work cross-functionally with product, retail, and communications teams.
Ideal Candidate
- 3–5 years of experience in visual design with a portfolio showcasing editorial range and typographic excellence.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, grid systems, visual hierarchy, and editorial pacing.
- Appreciation for analog processes, print production, archives, books, ephemera, and material culture.
- Experience building long-term visual identities rather than one-off campaign creatives.
- Proven experience designing publications, printed matter, and comprehensive brand systems.
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and capable of working closely with founders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to work independently.
