Role Description The Senior Video Editor is a full-time, on-site role based in Palanpur, responsible for leading end-to-end video production and post-production for marketing campaigns, websites, ads, and brand content. This role involves editing raw footage into polished, engaging videos, handling color grading, audio refinement, and visual storytelling aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The Senior Video Editor will collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and performance teams to translate briefs into compelling video assets for platforms such as YouTube, social media, and paid ads. Day-to-day tasks include planning video structure, selecting and organizing clips, integrating motion graphics and typography, optimizing videos for different formats and channels, and maintaining a consistent visual style across projects. The role may also involve mentoring junior editors, contributing to creative ideation, and staying up to date with editing trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Video Production and Video Editing skills, including experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills, with the ability to manage visual tone, exposure, and consistency across different formats and platforms.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills, including proficiency in tools such as Adobe After Effects and Photoshop or similar design applications.
- Candidates should possess solid storytelling, visual composition, and pacing abilities, with an understanding of digital marketing and social media video best practices.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, are beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment are important.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, openness to feedback, and a portfolio showcasing diverse video work for brands or campaigns are highly valued.
