About the Role
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor who thrives in a fast-paced digital environment. You will own the full editing pipeline — from raw footage to final deliverable — and play a key role in shaping our visual identity across social media and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form (Reels, YouTube Shorts) and long-form (YouTube, brand films, documentaries) videos with equal proficiency.
- Design and integrate soundscapes — background scores, SFX, and audio mixing — to enhance the emotional impact of every video.
- Perform professional-grade color grading and correction to ensure visual consistency and cinematic quality.
- Leverage AI-powered tools for video, audio, and workflow enhancement to stay efficient and ahead of the curve.
- Stay ahead of platform-specific trends (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) and proactively bring fresh creative ideas to the team.
- Collaborate with the creative team to translate briefs into polished visual stories.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.

Experience
2–4 years of professional video editing experience (portfolio/showreel required)
Editing Software
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and/or Final Cut Pro, Motion Graphics)
Short-Form Editing
Expert at creating Reels & YouTube Shorts — snappy cuts, trending formats, hook-driven openers
Long-Form Editing
Comfortable editing 10–60 min videos with strong narrative structure and pacing
AI Tools
Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools for video editing, audio enhancement, and content workflow
Sound Design & SFX
Ability to select and mix music, design soundscapes, and sync cinematic SFX to visuals
Color Grading
Strong command of color theory, LUT creation, and grading workflows in DaVinci or Premiere
Trend Awareness
Deep understanding of platform algorithms and evolving content trends on Instagram & YouTube
Soft Skills
Strong communication, self-motivation, attention to detail, and genuine passion for the craft
Nice to Have (Bonus Points)
- Experience with motion graphics and animation tools (Adobe After Effects).
- Basic knowledge of photography and cinematography to better communicate with videographers on set.
- Familiarity with thumbnail design and visual branding for YouTube channels.
- Understanding of SEO-friendly video structure and content strategy.
- Experience working with an in-house content or marketing team.
- Knowledge of podcast/interview editing with clean audio delivery.
- Ability to do basic voice-over narration or guide VO recording sessions.
