Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Video Editor. The Senior Video Editor will own the end-to-end post-production process, including editing short- and long-form videos for social media, ads, educational content, and campaign assets. Day-to-day responsibilities include structuring raw footage, selecting the strongest clips, refining narrative flow, and applying color grading, sound design direction, and visual enhancements to ensure polished, platform-ready outputs. The role involves collaborating with creative strategists, copywriters, designers, and AI production specialists to translate briefs into compelling video content that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The Senior Video Editor will also create and refine motion graphics, manage templates and editing systems for scale, optimize content for different platforms, and provide input on pre-production and content concepts to improve overall quality and performance.
Qualifications
- Strong video production and post-production skills, including experience managing footage, timelines, and delivery for multi-platform campaigns.
- Advanced video editing skills with proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar).
- Hands-on experience with video color grading and basic color correction to achieve consistent, on-brand visual styles.
- Proficiency in motion graphics and graphic overlays, including work in tools such as Adobe After Effects and related graphics software.
- Ability to collaborate in a remote environment, communicate clearly with creative and strategy teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) and best practices for short-form and performance-driven video content.
- Experience working with AI-assisted video workflows, templates, or automation tools is a plus.
