Role Description The Senior Video Editor is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Pune District, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for editing and assembling high-quality video content for events, brand films, projection mapping, and experiential installations, ensuring alignment with creative briefs and client objectives. Day-to-day tasks include organizing footage, refining story flow, applying color grading, integrating motion graphics and titles, and optimizing sound to deliver polished final outputs. The Senior Video Editor will collaborate closely with producers, directors, and design teams, provide creative input on visual storytelling, and help maintain consistent brand and quality standards across multiple projects. The role also involves managing project timelines, version control, and delivering formats suitable for various platforms and live event environments.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including experience with professional editing software and workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading, with the ability to maintain visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of footage.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements that support storytelling.
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior or Lead Video Editor in event, media, or creative industries is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop or similar) is preferred.
- Strong visual storytelling sense, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines on multiple concurrent projects.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional creative and production teams.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Animation, Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
