Role Description The Senior Video Editor is responsible for leading the end-to-end creation of video content, from concept development through final delivery. In this full-time role based in Hyderabad, the team member will spend part of their time working on-site and part working from home, collaborating closely with creative, marketing, and product teams. Daily tasks include organizing raw footage, editing and assembling compelling narratives, refining audio and visual elements, and ensuring brand consistency across all video assets. The role also involves providing creative direction, mentoring junior editors, managing project timelines, and contributing to visual storytelling strategies that support Pi Dot’s business, educational, and community initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and high-quality visual aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance visual storytelling and brand presence.
- Experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion design tools (e.g., After Effects) is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing advanced editing, color grading, and motion graphics work, ideally for tech, education, or marketing content.
- Relevant degree or certification in Film, Media, Animation, Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to inclusive, user-centered storytelling.
