About the job
We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team at Nuketown, a fast-growing branding and marketing agency based in Gurgaon, Haryana. The ideal candidate is someone who can create dynamic, engaging short and long form video content tailored for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube, and more.

What You Will Be Doing
- Edit and transform raw footage into captivating videos for social media, digital campaigns, and brand promotions.
- Add accurate and stylish subtitles to boost accessibility and viewer retention.
- Select and sync background music and sound effects that enhance storytelling.
- Ensure videos align with client branding guidelines and maintain a strong visual identity.
- Work closely with our creative team to understand project objectives and execute with flair.
- Manage multiple edits simultaneously and deliver on tight timelines.
What You Should Have
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Da Vinci Resolve, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Good understanding of video production, framing, transitions, and motion graphics.
- A strong eye for visual storytelling, aesthetic design, typography, color, and layout.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for content creation.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- A strong showreel or portfolio that demonstrates your editing range and style.
AI-First Editing Workflow (Important)
We believe AI is a force multiplier for creativity, not a replacement for it.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable integrating AI tools into their editing workflow to improve speed, efficiency, and creative output. This may include using AI for:
- Video ideation, scripting, and content research.
- Generating rough cuts, transcripts, subtitles, and captions.
- Creating motion graphics, visual assets, and creative references.
- Audio enhancement, voice cleanup, and sound design.
- Workflow automation and project management.
We don't expect expertise in every AI tool, but we do expect curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to stay ahead of emerging technologies. Candidates who actively use AI to enhance their work will be strongly preferred.

The Interview Process

- 30-minute virtual or in-person meeting with our leadership team.
Location
- Gurgaon, Haryana
- Hybrid preferred (work from office 1–2 times a week), but open to full remote for the right candidate.
Compensation
- ₹7-10 LPA CTC, depending on experience + performance
