Role Overview
The Senior Video Editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage into high-quality video content that aligns with brand storytelling, marketing goals, and creative direction.
This role requires strong technical expertise in editing, color correction, sound design, and motion graphics integration. The editor will work closely with the Creative Director, Video Manager, and Production Team to deliver professional video outputs for corporate films, product launches, marketing campaigns, and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Editing & Post Production
- Edit raw footage into engaging and high-quality videos.
- Assemble footage according to scripts, storyboards, and creative briefs.
- Ensure smooth pacing, visual flow, and storytelling continuity.
- Deliver polished final videos ready for marketing, social media, and client delivery.
2. Motion Graphics & Visual Enhancements
- Integrate motion graphics, titles, and visual elements.
- Add lower thirds, supers, and animated text where required.
- Work with After Effects for basic motion graphics and visual effects.
3. Color Correction & Sound Design
- Perform basic color correction and grading to maintain visual consistency.
- Balance audio levels, remove noise, and enhance sound clarity.
- Integrate background music and sound effects.
4. Multi-Format Content Delivery
Prepare and export videos for multiple platforms such as:
- YouTube
- Instagram Reels
- Corporate presentations
- Digital advertising platforms
Maintain correct resolution, aspect ratios, and codecs for different outputs.
5. Collaboration with Production Team
- Work closely with directors, videographers, and content teams.
- Provide creative input during post-production.
- Manage revision cycles and incorporate client feedback.
6. Project Management & File Organization
- Maintain organized project files and footage libraries.
- Manage storage, backups, and version control.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects as per deadlines.

Software Skills
Proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- DaVinci Resolve (basic color grading)
- Adobe Media Encoder
Technical Knowledge
- Video codecs and export formats
- Frame rates and aspect ratios
- Sound editing and mixing
- Color correction workflows
Creative Skills
- Strong storytelling sense
- Understanding of visual pacing
- Attention to detail
- Ability to enhance footage creatively
Experience Required
- 3–4 years of professional video editing experience
- Experience editing corporate videos, product films, social media content, or advertisements
- Experience handling multi-camera footage and large video projects
Additional Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of motion graphics
- Experience with cinematic storytelling
- Experience working with brand guidelines and marketing teams
